It’s FWD, too.
We know a lot about what Oppo wants to drive, based on the many, many enthusiastic postings on here. However, what’s out there that you haven’t driven, but don’t want to drive?
Note, however, the following:
This isn’t about what you don’t want to own , just what you don’t want to drive.
If you’re morbidly curious about a car that has a terrible reputation, and want to see how bad it really is... you still want to drive it. (Recently, a friend of mine chose a Versa sedan with a CVT at a rental lot, out of such morbid curiosity. There’s a few cars that fit into that category for me, too.)
If you would turn down a drive out of fear for damaging the car, or fear for your life, that counts as not wanting to drive it. (I did turn down an opportunity to drive a modded R32 GT-R once, although that was situational - I wasn’t about to try to drive a high-powered RHD car (I’ve never driven RHD), on tight roads that I wasn’t familiar with. On more open roads, I’d have gone for it, so it wouldn’t count in this thread.)

Ahhh my grandma had one of those. She actually offered it to me at one point, I encouraged her to sell it as nicely as possible(I already had two cars anyway). Just about any other car I would’ve taken because the best kind of car is a free one. Even a slushbox Corolla or you-name-it classic terrible old lady car would make a good mode of transportation.

It was absolutely horrible. To drive and to generally be around. She always told us “nobody chooses to drive a Prius, I hate this thing too.”
I literally moved it in a parking lot from one space to another before deciding I never wanted to lay eyes on it ever again. The fact that they have spoilers on them just made it worse. The only thing I give them credit for was having that screen thingy, which makes it feel a lot newer than it actually was.

The one in your picture would be my answer. Is that a Compass? It just looks like the worst thing ever, a crossover/cuv/whatever that isn’t any bigger inside than my 3-series wagon, and infinitely worse in every way.
I rented a CVT Versa hatchback... in Montana. It would probably be a fine car to bash around in a city. With a manual, or even a normal automatic. But the CVT combined with the wide-open spaces of Montana, it was the worst car I have ever driven, save maybe for a 1981 Dodge Aries. At least the Aries had a front bench seat!

My parents bought a used 2000 escalade because we needed an SUV with 4WD. We found it cheaper than we could get a Suburban. They, being short on money went for it. Several things;
1: just because it looks like a Tahoe or a Denali doesn’t mean it has the same reliability. Constantly something wrong with it.
2: It took a long time for us to get over the stigma of owning, and driving, an Escalade. We tried to keep it quiet, and anyone who found out that we owned one we quickly explained the details of why we had it.
3: The Escalade is extremely comfortable and a very nice vehicle inside, also has the best 4WD system I’ve ever seen (not that that says a lot), the places we got into and out of with that Escalade was crazy. We always said that we were the only people on the planet to actually make full use of the Escalades capabilities.
Fortunately for us I accidentally totaled it, borrowing it from my parents while my car was in the shop a few years ago. Now we have my moms dream vehicle, Navy Blue 1997 Suburban 7.4 on the Heavy Duty Chassis with Blue leather interior, and third row seats. The thing is a beast (and a boat).
